BIANCA TROCINO

EXAMINER (ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE)
Bianca is a graduate of the 2015 Professional Dancer’s Teaching Diploma (Dip PDTD) program of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) in London. She is currently an Examiner and Registered Teacher with the RAD.
Bianca started her formal dance training in Steps Dance Studio, Philippines (1998-2006) under the tutelage of the school’s Directress, Sofia-Zobel Elizalde ARAD, RTS; and Raul Sauz ARAD, RTS, RAD Examiner. She graduated with a consistent mark of Distinction from the Intermediate Foundation to Advanced 2 levels of the RAD Syllabus. She was then qualified to be awarded the title, Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD).
In 2003, she began dancing with the Philippine Ballet Theatre (PBT), a resident professional dance company of the Cultural Center of the Philippines. She trained under the guidance of PBT’s Ballet Master, Anatoly Panasyukov, a cum laude graduate of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy; and Artistic Directors, Gener Caringal and Ronilo Jaynario. In 2004, Bianca won 3rd place in the Junior Ballet Category of the National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA) held in the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Bianca was a company member of Philippine Ballet Theatre from 2007 to 2015. During these years, she was able to perform a multitude of principal, soloist, and corps de ballet roles in the company’s repertoire which included Coppelia, The Nutcracker, Carmen, Giselle, Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire and Paquita. Apart from being a dancer, Bianca graduated magna cum laude at the University of the Philippines, Diliman and gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (2011).
In May 2018, Bianca was accepted into the New Examiner Training Seminar in Sydney conducted by Paula Hunt A.R.A.D. RAD T Dip MNZM, former Artistic Director of RAD and subsequently, became an Examiner in the following month.
Bianca aspires to guide and inspire dance students into becoming the best artists that they can be. She hopes to help students develop sound classical technique and artistry by providing them with bespoke teaching and invaluable life skills in their training.
Bianca is an integral part and well respected member of the AQ Dance Family.
