At AQ Dance Academy, we treasure the boundless energy and imagination of our youngest dancers. Our Pre-School Ballet program, tailored for children aged 3 to 5, embraces a unique approach that captures the essence of early learning. With two devoted teachers per class, we guarantee personalized attention, ensuring each child’s developmental needs are met with care and precision. Music & Movement

Our very popular Music And Movement classes provides our youngest students with a fun and safe environment to kick start their dancing!

With the underlying structure based on Core Ballet techniques, we constantly inject fun learning elements to ensure that structure cultivates:

Exposure to Different Dance Styles (Underlying Classical Ballet)
Body Coordination
Musical Rhythm Awareness
Spatial Awareness
Expression of the Body and Mind
Sequential Story and Theme Based Creative Movements

Each class is structured and catered towards the following:

Age Group – 3 to 4.5 Years Old
Duration – 45 Mins Per Class (Once a Week Schedule)
Two Dance Instructors will be in every Class to ensure optimal learning experience

Pre Primary & Primary

AQ Dance incorporates the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Grades of Pre Primary and Primary classes syllabus and delivers core Classical Ballet foundations into every class. Our experienced Dance Instructors will be working with the students through fun and engaging lessons. Students strive and achieve the RAD Certification at the end of each Grade through the Annual Examinations.

The Pre Primary and Primary classes will cultivate:

Basic Knowledge of Classical Ballet Posture, Positioning and Terminology
Controlled Movements
Spatial Awareness
Basic Musical Phrasing and Rhythmical Awareness
Globally Recognised Certification upon completion of the Annual Examinations

Each class is structured and catered towards the following:

Age Group – 5 to 6 Years Old
Duration for Pre Primary Grade – 45 Mins Per Class (Once a Week Schedule)
Duration for Primary Grade – 60 Mins Per Class (Once a Week Schedule)
Students come Twice a Week when coaching starts for the Annual Examinations
Two Dance Instructors will be in every Class to ensure optimal learning experience
